Since 2000 , it saw the rise of a style known as Dubwise, which returned drum and bass to its reggae and dub-influenced roots , combined with modern production techniques . Dubwise music use jamaican reggae riddim (consisting of a drum pattern and a prominent bassline) mixing some audio effects like echo and reverb and develop a dub atmoshere with drum & bass rythm. Dubwise can use ragga vocals and multiple reggae and old school elements like guitars and keyboards too.
