This music grew out of Garage. It uses breakbeats sped up to double-time in conjunction with deep electro-basslines. Drum ‘n’ Bass tends to be jazzier and less aggressive than jungle which has many "hardcore" subgenres and often features Dub/Dancehall style MCs.
